A conversation at the bar with my Ibo friends.....

I was at a local bar today with two of my well educated Ibo friends to have a taste of aunty shade's catfish with a cold bottle of ORIGIN (that drink that i can literally die for....LOL) . During our political laced chit-chat, my friends lamented the hand fate had played there kins men in the selection of political appointees and most especially the latest selection of ministers.

They lamented that the positions given to there kins-men  were according to them unprofitable
and not lucrative at all. They complained most especially about the position given to the former A.P.C chairman Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, who they said had been with the party since day one and has been a staunch Buhari man, saying in there words " them come give am small ministry, wetin he wan see chop for science and technology ministry sef".

Well i tried my best to educate them that the era of chop-chop government has gone, we are now in an era of of change. Moreover how can anyone say that the ministy of science and technology  is a small ministry. A ministry that can properly position nigeria in its rightful place in the 21th century. A ministry that can come up with renewable energy intitatives that will help increase access to electricity while also developing intiatives that assist with improvements in education, Health and Agricultural services delivery.

They struck adamantly to there positions, and at a point i had to keep quiet as i could see they were already bent to one position like a dried stick and couldn't straighten again.......
